As many of you know we have joined alongside local tribal leaders of northern Brazil to establish partnerships for education, business development and access to fair loans.
Our friends in northern Brazil are now suffering from the heaviest floods in 40 years. When its not raining at Boa Vista its raining elsewhere up the mountains. Most of the rivers are connected to the Rio Branco River which has overflowed its banks invading large areas of the city. The poorest are not getting the assistance they need. I talked with Awan who is in Boa Vista on Friday. Many are getting sick with Malaria and Dingi feaver. They need some immediate assistance for fuel to get around to serve the poor sections of the city with basic food, water and medication. Even a few thousand dollars would make a big difference.
You can help where 100% of every dollar will be used for immediate aid to the poor of Boa Vista. Then it will be wired to Boa Vista to provide immediate assistance to the most needy.

The list includes:
Everyday Oympia - a news magazine and neighborhood blog for downtown Olympia.
First Friday, a monthly downtown community walk.
Halloween – a downtown family-friendly trick-or-treat event.
A Table for Olympia – a neighborhood picnic and block party.
Craft X NW - a street fair and crafts market.
Downtown Together - a semi-monthly conversation around downtown issues.
Of course, we didn’t develop these events all by ourselves and a huge thanks goes out to everyone that helped, volunteered and supported us. So, we’re planning on building Inspiration Institute into a platform to administer, organize and develop these and more events in the near future.
